Our slogan, «ΜΕΛΙΤΤΑ ΕΝ ΚΟΡΙΝΘΩ», means “The Bee in Corinth”, expressing the connection between the bee and our Corinthian roots. Inspired by ancient Greek language and the historical heritage of Corinth, it brings together the world of beekeeping and the identity of our homeland.
The word Μέλιττα is an ancient Greek form of μέλισσα, meaning “bee”, while ἐν Κορίνθῳ means “in Corinth”. Together, these words give our brand a distinctive identity inspired by the ancient world and the land that remains at the heart of our story.
The name Apis Corinthia combines Apis, the Latin word for bee, with Corinthia, the historic region of the Peloponnese that inspires our identity. Together with our Greek slogan, it represents our appreciation for Greece’s natural wealth, the importance of bees to our ecosystem and the longstanding tradition of Greek beekeeping.

Εμπνευσμένο από τη φυσική ομορφιά, τον πλούτο της γης και τη μελισσοκομική παράδοση της Κορινθίας, το Apis Corinthia αναδεικνύει τον αυθεντικό χαρακτήρα του ελληνικού μελιού και τη διαχρονική σχέση ανάμεσα στη φύση, τις μέλισσες και τον τόπο μας.
Το σύνθημά μας, «ΜΕΛΙΤΤΑ ΕΝ ΚΟΡΙΝΘΩ», εκφράζει τη σύνδεση της μέλισσας με τις κορινθιακές μας ρίζες. Εμπνευσμένο από την αρχαία ελληνική γλώσσα και την ιστορική κληρονομιά της Κορίνθου, συνδέει τον κόσμο της μελισσοκομίας με την ταυτότητα του τόπου μας.
Η λέξη Μέλιττα αποτελεί αρχαία ελληνική μορφή της λέξης μέλισσα, ενώ η φράση ἐν Κορίνθῳ σημαίνει «στην Κόρινθο». Μαζί, οι λέξεις αυτές προσδίδουν στο brand μας μια ξεχωριστή ταυτότητα, εμπνευσμένη από τον αρχαίο κόσμο και τη γη που βρίσκεται στο επίκεντρο της ιστορίας μας.
Το όνομα Apis Corinthia συνδυάζει τη λέξη Apis, τη λατινική ονομασία της μέλισσας, με την Κορινθία, την ιστορική περιοχή της Πελοποννήσου που αποτελεί πηγή έμπνευσης για την ταυτότητά μας.
